The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has voted Super Falcons star Chiamaka Nnadozie the joint-seventh Women's Best Goalkeeper in the world 2021, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
There was a three-way tie for seventh position with Chelsea goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger and Manchester City netminder Ellie Roebuck also accumulating five points in the poll.
The Women's World Best Goalkeeper 2021 is Lyon's Christiane Endler (110 points), while Barcelona's Sandra Panos finished second (100 points). Stephanie Labbe who won the Olympic Games Tournament with Canada took place 3 in the ranking before the IFFHS winners of the last years, Sarah Bouhaddi (2016, 2017, 2018, 2020) and Sari Van Veenendaal (2019).
Nnadozie became the youngest goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet at the world cup. She came into the limelight at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.
Her performance at the tournament earned her a move in February 2020 from Nigerian Women's Football League side (NWFL) side Rivers Angels to French club Paris FC.
This season in the Feminine Division 1 with Paris FC she has played all available matches keeping five clean sheets in a total of nine appearances.
Nnadozie has represented Nigeria at the FIFA Women's U-17 and U-20 World Cups and was part of the Super Falcons team that emerged victorious at the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON).
