Super Falcons Defender Joins AS Roma

In continuations of her sojourn in Europe, Nigeria's Super Falcons defender Osinachi Ohale has joined Italia side AS Roma Femini, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 28-year-old Nigerian comes moved to Rome after spending the last season at Tacon in the Spanish Iberodola, a team that has now become Real Madrid.

The club announced her captured on Thursday afternoon welcoming her, while the player also expressed her happiness joining the team.

"AS Roma Women's Team is pleased to announce the engagement of Osinachi Ohale", the club said

"I chose Roma for many positive aspects of the Club, the city and the country that made me want to come," he said in his first interview with the Giallorossi.

"I think it will be a great experience for me to face new challenges," the player stated.

In her career Ohale has participated in three World Cups and has won the African Cup four times.

At club level he played in the United States with Huston Dash before landing in Sweden, where he played in the Vittsjo and Vaxjo.

In Nigeria she played in Rivers Angels and twice won the national title with Delta Queens.
