Super Falcons Eye Win Against World Champions USA By Our Reporter Nine- time African champion the Super Falcons is seeking for redemption when they face world champions USA in their final game of the Summer Series in Texas. Both sides have met on three occasions in the past with the Americans winning on all the encounters. The Americans first thumped Nigeria 5-0 in 2003 and four years later beat the Super Falcons 1-0. The last meeting between the two teams was at the 2015 World Cup, where the US again edged past the perennial African Champions 1-0. The Kick-off will be early morning Thursday in Austin, Texas. The Falcons are ranked 38th in the FIFA Ranking, while the USA are No 1 in the world.
