Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), according to newtelegraph, announced that the regional competition will hold from February 25 March 7, in a new date fixed to host the event that was postponed in December by WAFU due to logistical concerns.

The SLFA also confirmed the second and third and second largest cities in Sierra Leone, Bo and Makeni, as venues for the competition, as they both have stadia with sitting capacities of 10,000 and 25,000 spectators respectively, with fans expected to cheer on talented female players from 11 other nations, which will travel to Sierra Leone to compete for the championship
