Super Falcons: NFF Confirms Receipt of N75m From Dangote, Abdul Samad Donation

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has announced that Dangote Group owner, Aliko Dangote and BUA Group CEO, Abdul Samad have presented the cheque of Seventy five million naira to the federation on Saturday in Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Business mogul, Aliko Dangote and Abdul Samad had promised to give Super Falcons fifty and twenty-five million naira respectively following their ninth African Women Nations Cup triumph in Ghana.
This is contained in a statement by the NFF, which reads in parts;
"The highlight of the occasion was the presentation of the sum of N50 million to the Super Falcons by Dangote Group, immediately followed by the presentation of the sum of N25 million to the team by BUA Group."
Super Falcons of Nigeria are one of the three African teams that will participate in 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France. Other qualified African countries are Cameroon and South Africa.
Super Falcons are grouped alongside the hosts,France, Norway and South Korea in Group A.
