Super Falcons thrashes Pomurje

Nigeria's Super Falcons intensified their preparations for the upcoming FIFA Women World cup on Sunday as they defeated Slovakia women side Pomurje 3-0.

A brace from newly acquired FC Barcelona Femini striker Asisat Oshoala in the 18th and 26th minute of the first half, alongside 91st minute goal from Uche Kanu was enough to ensured that Nigeria recorded a resounding victory.

The Nigeria team has been camping and preparing for the competition in Austria for the past two weeks.

Nine time African champion will depart Austria on Tuesday for France the venue of the tournament.

Nigeria opening match will be against Norway before facing Korea and host France at a later date.
