Super Falcons to get new coach soon - NFF

Ahead of this West African Football Union ( WAFU) tournament, the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation( NFF) Dr Mohammed Sanusi has stated that the Super Falcons head coach will be announce soon.

Former Coach of the team Christopher Danjuma was relieved of his position after the team crashed out of the race for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifier against their counterpart from Coted'ivoire, BSN Reports.

The host of this year WAFU women competition Sierra Leone announced February 25th to March 7th, 2020 as the date of the championship.

"The federation is aware of the new date for the WAFU Women’s Cup and we have been contacted by the organisers.

The Technical Department is in charge and I can assure you very soon, the team would be called to camp.

The tournament is not new to us and Sierra Leone has similar wealthier condition with us. Our girls are experienced and whoever is going to handle the team will give us the best," he said.
