SWAN FCT chapter congratulates Naija Ratels on NWPL Promotion By Our Reporter The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN FCT chapter congratulates the founder, management, technical crew and players of Naija Ratels Football Club of Abuja for gaining promotion to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL). The football family including the Sports Writers in Abuja celebrate with you. You have represented us well, we are proud of this achievement. The new chairman of SWAN FCT Chapter, Comrade Bunmi Haruna who is also a CAF licenced coach said, “We knew you were going to excel because of the quality of your coaches and players hence we are not surprised that you have gained promotion to the elite division of the Women league. "Your achievement is worth celebrating and it shows that hard work and commitment is key to achieving set down goal," he noted. Comrade Bunmi further said, "We hereby salute the courage of the entire team and wish them well in their future engagements as they prepare for life in the NWFL. "We are very confident that you will do well in the NWFL with the support of your chairman who is a lover of the round leather game and women football respectively," he said. The SWAN chairman also prayed that as Naija Raitels FC goes to the NWFL, they will not only be participants but will shock the world to lift the elusive trophy for Abuja and also go ahead to represent the country in the newly-introduced CAF Women Champions League.
