SWAN Mourns Abba Kyari, Condoles F.G

The National Secretariat of Sports Writers' Association of Nigeria, SWAN has expressed sadness over the death of the Chief of Staff to the Federal Government, Mallam Abba Kyari.

In a condolence message jointly signed by the President of SWAN, Comrade Ahmed Aigbona and the Secretary General, Comrade Mike Oboh described Abba Kyari's death as  unfortunate and a big loss to the country.

“We are saddened by the death of the Chief of Staff. May Allah grant him Al Jannah Firdaus and strengthen his family and friends during this moment of grief.

“ As we condole with President Muhammadu Buhari, SWAN also sympathised with Nigerians over Abba Kyari's demise.

" It is very unfortunate that the Chief of Staff died of Coronavirus, and on this account, we urged Nigerians to always adhere to all prescribed preventive measures", the statement reads.
