Table Tennis: Omotayo Set Big Target For 2022 Sampson Adedeji Nigeria Table Tennis sensation, Olajide Omotayo, has set for himself a big target for the year 2022, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Omotayo has achieved more on the continent of African and is even the reigning in the Africa games but is yet to attain his rightful stage in the international table tennis tournament. The hardworking player became an Olympian in the year 2021 after he represented Team Nigeria in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games in Japan. Omotayo who admitted that his game has not been the same due to the coronavirus pandemic outbreak said he hopes to win big matches and tournaments in the year 2022. “My main target for this year is to break the jinx at international tournaments by winning good matches, ever since the pandemic my game hasn’t been the same and I know with time everything will align. “My new year resolution is to become more fearless, knowing that I’m the only one who can make things happen for myself” he said. Apart from playing at the Olympics Omotayo also represented the country in the World Table Tennis tournament in Houston Texas in 2021.
