Talent Hunt: Sunday Dare Announces National Open Athletics & Football Trials For Youth Corp Members

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare on Saturday in Keffi, Nasarawa state announced that the ministry will soon kick off national open athletics and football trials for corp members across the country, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Speaking at the 2019 Batch C Orientation camp NYSC Keffi, Nasarawa state, the minister promised that the talents discovered from the tournament will be trained by the ministry of your and sports under national team coaches. He added that plans have been concluded for discovered 5 top athletes, 5 footballers and 4 table tennis players.

According to him, the trials will be hosted in all National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camps across the country.

Dare not happy with what he saw while inspecting the rooms in the camp of the coppers, promised to personally donate 500 mattresses and also promised to work with the ministry of health to donate 1,000 mosquito nets as well as maintenance of the training facilities.

The youth apostle during his speech at the auditorium hall of the camp ended by saying that "Sports is big business adding that by the year 2021 the biggest business in Nigeria will not be oil but talented youth in the country."
