Tammy Abraham Left Out of England World Cup List

By Admin England Manager Gareth Southgate has announced England’s 23-man World Cup squad with Super Eagles snub, Tammy Abraham missing out. Abraham has a chance to represent the Super Eagles at the world stage but chooses to stick to England after getting a cap in an International Friendly. Abraham had in 2017 caught the attention of Amaju Pinnick, the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), after scoring four of Swansea’s seven league goals earlier in the past season. He has since, in the light of Pinnick’s expressed desire to have him play for Nigeria, but the young player said he never thought of playing for Nigeria, his eyes were solely on the English National team. Liverpool’s Alexander Arnold and Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus Cheek headlines the squad as unveiled by Southgate on Wednesday.
