Team FCT Wins 7 Medals On Day 6 As 2021 National Youth Games Ends Today By Niyi Busari Team FCT on Monday crowned their an unprecedented achievements at the ongoing National Youth Games in Ilorin winning seven medals. With 22 medals in the bag before Monday, Team FCT won three gold , two silver and two bronze medals in Badminton, tennis and beach volleyball on Monday. One gold in tennis men's doubles, two gold medals in badminton as well two silver in beach volleyball - one each in men's and women's categories. Also, the team went ahead to win two bronze medals in tennis female doubles and Female Singles bringing the total medals won on Day 6 to seven. Winning 29 Medals in total saw the nation's capital achieved the best performance in the championship in its last six appearances. Meanwhile, the 6th National Youth Games which commenced last Wednesday will end today. The minister of Sports, Sunday Dare will be at the University of Ilorin to draw the curtain on this year's edition. The annual grassroots events is organised by the Ministry of Sports to discover budding talents across the country. The University of Ilorin has been the host since its second edition.
