Team Nigeria Departs For Maiden African Cycling Cup in Eritrea By Niyi Busari The Nigerian cycling team has departed Nigeria for Eritrea on Thursday through Nnamdi Azikiwe international Airport Abuja to participate in the inaugural Africa Cycling Cup Championships in Eritrea. The maiden Championships which is scheduled for 21st-25th November will see twenty African countries vy for points in the Road Race, Team Time Trial and Individual Time Trial. Eight Nigerian Cyclists made up of 5 females and 3 males will compete in the Road Race, Team Time Trial for Elite Women, U23, and Individual Time Trial. This is their fourth international competition this year.
