Nigeria, who missed the World Cup in Bogota, the Colombian capital earlier this month, had a total of 13 lifters in attendance: Adesokan Yakubu, Dauda Ibrahim, Kure Thomas and Innocent Nnamdi. Others are Ben Jonah, Tijani Latifat, Mark Onyinyechi, Ejuke Lucy, Ibrahim Olaitan, Okpala Paulina, Omolayo Bose, Olufunmilayo Folashade and Loveline Obji. A total of 19 countries were in attendance at the three-day tournament.
