With less than 14 days to the start of this years zonal bowling championship slated for South Africa, Head coach and captain of team Nigeria, Mr Olubunmi Gabriel has issued a note of warning to other participating teams that will be taking part in the bowling championship.
This is coming on the heels that host nation, South Africa had earlier alerted participating teams the need for them to be wary of their threat when the competition gets underway.
Olubunmi while speaking to BSN Sports expressed optimism about his teams readiness, stating that they are not afraid of any opposition, promising that they'll be going to South Africa to surprise all the African countries.
"We know South Africa have a lot of experience than Nigeria & will want to use home advantage against other teams but we're not afraid of them".
" I have 95% assurance of my team's ability to emerge victoriously, hence, we're going to show the rest of African countries that we're known for bowling & not just football alone".
Nigeria will do battle with seven other African countries to ascertain who becomes the next African champion in this zonal competition which will also serve as a qualifier to the world stage.
