Team Nigeria win 1 gold, 1 bronze medal at African Track championship

Team Nigeria at the ongoing African Track Cycling Championship in Cairo, Egypt, have won one gold and one bronze medals.

The championship organised by the African Cycling Confederation (CAC) began on Thursday and will end on Sunday.

According to the competition’s website, Grace Ayuba won gold in the junior category of Keirin event.

Tawakalt Yekeem won bronze in the Keirin women elite. Nigeria ten cyclists which includes four boys and six girls are to compete in eight events

The championship would end on Sunday.
