Super Eagles Now A Finished Product..... Patrick Pascal
By Niyi Busari
Super Eagles coordinator, Patrick Pascal (MON) has said that the era of continuous and endless building of the Nigeria senior national team are over.
The former 3sc defender who spoke exclusively with BSN Sports in Abuja on Saturday added that the Super Eagles now have a formidable team that can face any team in the world.
"For the first time in about ten years, Super Eagles are now finished product and have passed the stage of rebuilding. Despite missing key players in the last few matches, the players called to replace the injured or retired ones are also good that the result did not reflect missing any player."
Pascal is confident that the Super Eagles will defeat the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in their group E AFCON qualifying tie next Saturday.
Although Pascal admitted that the game will be difficult as South Africa need to win the home game to be sure of qualifying for the 2019 African Nations cup in Cameroon.
"South Africa game is a must win for Nigeria not only because it will qualify the Eagles for the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon with a game to to play but also to revenge the first leg 2-0 loss in Nigeria. Though, it will be an easy game because they need the three points more than the Eagles but they can not stop Nigeria."
