The First Nigeria Talents Football Show Kick off in 15 States By Niyi Busari The first reality football talent show in the country kicks off May next year in 15 States. The talent show which focus mainly on discovering the next generation football superstars in Nigeria that will take over from twilights current players of the national teams. The essence of the event according to Mr Patrick Attah, the CEO Next Naija Football Superstar Reality TV Show, is to promote the youths from the grassroots and provide opportunity to meet with their mentors in the Nigerian Football circle. Interested and intending participants are expected to register online by login on to www.nextnaijafootballsuperstar.com. Players between the ages of 16 years and above are eligible and shall access a form by paying a fees of N5,000 only to Patoz Football Concept Limited. The screening centres are Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Ibadan, Enugu, Owerri, Uyo, Delta, Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Gombe, Markurdi, Jos and FCT-Abuja. Sixty best players will be selected based on their performance and will be camped in Abuja for sixty days for final round of screening where 30 players will enjoy all the prizes including European trip for trials. The event which starts 5th May, 2019 in their respective states will have the final played in Abuja against the national U17 team in a yet to be named venue. The CEO of the company, Mr Patrick Attah added that the Most Valuable Player will receive a prize of N10 million, 1st runners-up will pocket N5 million while the 3rd runners up will smile to the bank to cash N2 million.
