Tokyo 2020: Adegoke Send Forth By Edo State Deputy Governor, Receives $10,000 Grant By Sampson Adedeji Just as the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games draw closer, Team.Nigeria contigents continued to prepare and get ready for the greatest sports showpiece, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. One the key member of the team who hailed from Edo State, Enoch Adegoke on Monday get send forth from the Deputy Governor of the state, Philip Shuaib. Enoch Adegoke became the fastest man in the world this earlier this year, after running a new World Lead of 10.16s (+0.8) to win the men’s 100m final at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) All-Comers held at the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure. Apart from the send forth, he was also given $10,000 as grant to enhance his training in the course of the games. Adegoke, was one of the 100m finalist at 2018 Commonwealth Games.
