Tokyo 2020: Aruna Quadri Seeded 15th, As Draws Hold This Week By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the Tokyo Olympic games, International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has announced that the draws will hold this week for the table tennis events coming up in Japan, BSNSports.com.ng can reports Four players led by Team Nigeria captain Aruna Quadri will representing the country in table tennis event scheduled to start this week. Quadri who qualified for the competition via ranking has emerged top seeded Africa players and was seeded in 15 among 65 players that will compete for men's singles. His compatriots Olajide Omotayo was seeded 49th while Egyptian Omar Assar was seeded in 28th. In the womens singles, among 70 players that will compete, Nigeria Edem Offiong was seeded 53 while Seven-time Olympian Olufunke Oshonaike is 60th. All eyes will be on Quadri in the mens singles as he was the only African that played up to the quarter final of the Rio 2016 Olympic games in Brazil.
