Tokyo 2020 Olympics: Aruna Quadri Set To Lead Team Nigeria By Sampson Adedeji According to the reports emanating from National Federations in Abuja, Nigeria's table tennis sensation Aruna Quadri is set to be named captain of Team Nigeria to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. The three time Olympian was the only African table tennis player to have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Olympic tournament. The reports has it that Quadri was unanimously picked by the federations and was supported by the athletes to be the team captain. He will be assisted by the skipper of D'Tigeress Adara Elonu while wresting star Odunayo Adekunroye will be the flag bearer to be assisted by Ese Brume. The first batch of athletes will depart Nigeria on 6th of July while second batch is scheduled to move on 13th July.
