  Tokyo 2020: D'Tigress Group Opponents Are Familiar Foes - Head Coach By Sampson Adedeji Head coach of the Nigeria senior women's Basketball team D'Tigeress, Otis Hughley, has described the group opponent of the Nigeria side familiar foes, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The basketball events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games draws were conducted on Tuesday and the defending champions United States, European best team, France and host Japan are in the same group with Africa champions, Nigeria. Otis said they have played with these teams in the past and already have experience and information on how to handle them. “We met USA and France at the last World Cup in Spain and again faced USA at the Olympics Qualifying Tournament in Serbia last year where we qualified for the Olympics. “We are mindful of the threat these teams pose to us including Japan who are ranked 10th in the FIBA ranking. “We are going to prepare adequately to ensure that when the time comes, we will be ready," he told NBBF media. Otis who led the team to the quarter finals of the 2018 World Cup thereby setting an African record before winning the 2019 FIBA Afrobasket championship. D'Tigeress are presently camping Atlanta, USA ahead of the games.
