  Ogun State Governor Adopts Amusan By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has contributed his quotas in order for Nigeria athletes to do the country proud, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The governor on Sunday announced the adoption of Ijebu born Nigeria hurdler Tobiloba Amusan for the upcoming events. Amusan has come a long way, winning gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, African Games, African Championship and NCAA Championships. Last year she finished just 0.02 shy of a medal at the World Athletics Championships in Doha. Still just 24, Amusan will be a potent medal threat at this year’s rescheduled Tokyo Olympic Games. In the event that took place during courtesy visit of Minister of Youth and sports Hon Sunday Dare to the governor, he also announced $20,000 supports fund for the US based athelete.
