Tokyo 2020; Quadri believes Nigeria can pick medals

Nigeria's Table Tennis star Aruna Quadri has stated that he believed that Team nigeria in table tennis can actaully deliver medals at the 2020 Olympic games slated for Tokyo, Japan.

After crashing out at the quarter final stage of the table tennis event at Rio 2016 Olympic game, Quadri is one of the athlete Nigerians hoping on to deliver medal at the upcoming event, BSN Reports.

He further expresed his excitement over his new ITTF ranking which was released last weekend.

“Remaining on top is more work. I think a medal is possible in Tokyo,” Quadri was quoted on ITTF-Africa’s social media on Monday.

Quadri was last weekend ranked 18th in the world, ahead of the 2020 ITTF competitions.
