Tokyo 2020: Team Nigeria Training Camp To Open May 15 By Sampson Adedeji Ministry of Youth and Sports under the leadership of Hon. Sunday Dare has announced the opening date for Nigeria contingencies to Tokyo 2020 Olympics, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The athletes from various sports has started training individually and in teams but the ministry on Thursday announced a comprehensive roadmap for the Atheletes. The camp will commence from May 15th-July 23rd in Bayelsa, Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt. Track and Field National Olympics Trials takes place June 17-19th, African Athletics Championship from June 22-26th, 2021. The last phase of the camping will be in Kisarazu from July 3-23rd, while the 1st batch of athletes will enter the Games Village from August 8th, 2021. Nigeria relay team are presently in the United States hooping to secure qualification to the ancient games. Nigeria will take part in 10 sports with about 80 atheletes .
