*HAVEN FEATURED FOR HIGH PROFILE CLUBS THE COUNTRY CAN BOAST OF, HOW DO YOU FEEL PLAYING FOR NIGER TORNADOES NOW?
"Well, I've always had passion to play for the team, that's why when the opportunity came I didn't hesitate. Tornadoes is equally a house hold name in the Nigeria Domestic League and currently parades one of the best Coaches in the Country in person of Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed, equally too, the crop of players, at the club, at present is the best any NNL team can present and in fact, could challenge even the big clubs in the top flight, evidence was their outing in last season's Aiteo Cup where the team narrowly lost to Kano Pillars in the finals and also represented the Nigeria in the CAF Confederations Cup"
*WHAT SHOULD MINNA FANS EXPECT FROM YOU THIS SEASON?
"Like I said, our target this season is promotion to the NPFL; that, is non negotiable, and, on a personal note, my goals shall also propel the team to record good results, both home and away; and the fans should expect good football from the the team, but not without their own sacrifice which is 100% support at all times"
*WHAT CALL HAVE YOU TO THE FANS/SUPPORTERS OF THE CLUB?
Well, it's a give and take thing… Laughs… But frankly, they support us unflinchingly and we give them good football and best results… You see, we can only achieve our target when we align our interest and support the team wholeheartedly. So I'm calling on the fans to rally round the team before, during and after matches"
*HOW CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE NPFL THIS SEASON?
"Near perfect… This is one of the best league seasons we are witnessing in Nigeria's top flight division, agreed, there are little adjustment needed here and there, but so far, I will say kudos to LMC, I want to call on the authorities to equally extend similar gesture to the second tier league (NNL) and I can also assure you that Niger Tornadoes will be part of the NPFL party next season"
End.
Niger Tornadoes seats top of the NNL Group A2 standings despite playing the fewest matches before the league went on break. The team have continued to engage in series of friendly matches in an effort to keep the players match fit and in top shape as the NNL season is expected to recommence any moment.
