Tottenham  have signed youth midfielder Ferdinand Okoh following his release by West Ham United, BSNSports reports. A photo of a player believed to be Okoh signing a contract in Spurs training gear next to a wall decorated by the club’s famous golden cockerel. Okoh is a 15-year-old central midfielder who was let go by West Ham a year ago. The teenager signed a deal that will run until Under-16 level, at which point Tottenham will decide whether to tie Okoh and other players his age down to professional contracts. Whether the fact West Ham let Okoh go is at all an indicator of his quality remains to be seen.
