By Sampson Adedeji

Ahead of the new Turkish Super Lig season, Tranzonspor signified its interest to acquire Nigeria's Super Eagles and CD Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Omeruo moved to Spanish La Liga last season on permanent basis from the English premier league side Chelsea after a successful loan stint with Leganes.

The reports coming from the camp of Trabzonspor on Thursday afternoon indicated that the club is set to commence discussions with Leganes for the Nigeria international.

Tranzonspor finished last season campaign in the second position after spending major part of the season in top of the table.

Tranzonspor is fast becoming a home for Nigeria players with the likes of Ogenyi Onazi, John Mikel, having played for the club in the past.

Forward Anthony Nwakaeme is still with the club and if Omeruo move materialised he will be the second Nigeria on the team payroll.
