Transfer: Chelsea Confirms Moses Departure By Sampson Adedeji English Premier League side Chelsea FC confirmed the departure of former Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Victor Moses to Russian Premier League club, Spartak Moscow, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. The speedy winger joined the Blues in the summer of 2012 after a decent time-out with Wigan Athletics. Moses was part of the Premier League winning team of Chelsea in 2016/17 season under Antonio Conte where he made 34 appearances as a right wing back. After failing to tie down a regular playing time under Frank Lampard, Moses was loaned out to Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce. He spent last season on loan with Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League where he made 20 appearances for them. At the end of the season the Russian side contacted Chelsea for his permanent acquisition which both parties agreed upon. The current European champion confirmed his departure via club website on Friday “Victor Moses has today completed a permanent transfer to Spartak Moscow. The move brings to an end the wideman’s nine-year Chelsea career,” a statement on Chelsea’s website said. Moses made 128 appearances for Chelsea and scored 18 goals. Before retiring from international football Moses made 37 appearances for Super Eagles and netted 12 goals.
