Transfer: Simy Set To Remain In Serie A
By Sampson Adedeji
Despite numerous approaches from top clubs across Europe, Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo is set to remain in Italy, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The lanky striker caught the attention of the entire Europe last season when he distinguished himself with Crotone despite the club struggling throughout the season.
According to the report coming from Italy, newly promoted Salernitana has tabled an offer of €6 million for Simy ahead of the new league season.
Relegated Crotone is requesting €10 million for their main man as it's obvious that he will not be campaigning in Serie B with them.
The 29-year-old has been at Crotone since 2016 and would gladly have remained, but his spectacular haul of 20 goals in 38 Serie A games made it difficult to continue following relegation to Serie B.
