Transfer Update: Effiong Joins Ahly Benghazi Permanently Sampson Adedeji The loan deal of the Akwa United attacker, Ndifreke Effiong to the Libyan side Ahly Benghazi has been made permanent, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Effiong joined the Benghazi side during the winter transfer window on loan with an option of a permanent purchase at the season. The power playing striker was able to good impact with the club contributing 7 goals during his short instinct in Libya. At the expiration of his loan deal Effiong returned to his parent club, Akwa United, and has to wait until both clubs agreed for a move. Ahly Benghazi activated the buying option and signed Effiong on a 3-year deal.
