Transfer Update: Kwara United Forward Joins Iraqi Club Sampson Adedeji With the 2021/2022 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League yet to kick-off another star of the league has joined the foreign legion, BSNsports.com.ng can report. A load of players has left the shore of the country for greener pasture since the completion of the 2020/2021 season of the league. Latest player to move is Kwara United forward Michael Ohanu who joined the Iraqi league club Al Shorta SC. The lethargic striker was on fine form for the Afonja Warrior last season scoring load of goals in the league. The Iraqi side confirmed his capture on Saturday afternoon. Former Akwa United player is not the first NPFL player to play in the Iraqi league as former Lobi Star forward Kingsley Eduwo jas once plying its trade there in the past.
