Transfer Update: Reason Josh Maja's Move To Forest Collapse Reveal Sampson Adedeji The reasons why the impending move of Nigeria's Super Eagles and Girondin Bordeaux striker Josh Maja to English championship side Nottingham Forest collapsed is finally out, BSNsports.com.ng can report Forest has agreed to pay cash-strapped French club £4 million for the services of the Nigeria international only for him to fail medical on the deadline day of the transfer. Maja joined Bordeaux from the English Championship side Charlton Athletic a few seasons back and he started well for the French side until an injury set in for him. His performances earned him a call up to Nigeria's Super Eagles and he was able to make his debut in an international friendly against Ukraine. After failing the medical, he's expected to return to France and continue to work on his fitness ahead of the winter transfer window.
