Transfers: Manchester United interested in Wilfred Ndidi

Transfers:
Manchester United could make a move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in the January transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Midfield is a priority area for United to strengthen as they prepare for future transfer opportunities. Their current pairing in a double pivot is Fred and Scott McTominay. They could be upgraded upon, although the club opted not to sign anyone in that position in the summer. The Super Eagles star joined Leicester City from Genk in January 2017 and has gone on to become one of the key players in the Foxes team. He has made the sixth-highest number of interceptions in the Premier League this season, while no one has made more since the 2019/2020 season. Ndidi has also made the most number of tackles in the league within this period, although he sits in 15th place this season. At 24, Ndidi is still one of the best-performing players in the Premier League. His consistency on the Brendan Rodgers team is something to applaud. Now, with the hard times that the 'Foxes' are living at this start of the season, it seems that the African is thinking about a way out. Solskjaer's men have always been interested in the pivot, but few contacts have been made so far. The situation so far in the team in that area is critical and if it continues like this they will not think for a second whether to make this signing.
