Tunisia Cup: Nigeria Duo Help Monastir To First Title

Nigeria international duo of Anthony Okpotu and Moses Orkuma have helped Tunisia side, US Monastir, to win its first title in Tunisia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Monastir achieved a remarkable feat last week after the team picked CAF Confederation Cup slot after finishing in a third position on the league table.

Former Lobi Stars attacker Okpotu and Orkuma were both in action on Sunday as Monastir surprisingly defeated league champion Espearance 2-0 in the final of the Tunisia cup.

Goals from Yaakoubi and Amri were enough to give Monastir its first trophy.

Okpotu apart from helping Monastir to COnfederation cup and cup title, he was also the highest goal scorer in the league with 13 goals.
