Tunisia Edge Oman To Pick FIFA Arab Cup Semifinal Ticket By Our Reporter Tunisia are through to the semi-final of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup following a 2-1 win against Oman on Friday at Qatar’s Education City Stadium. The Carthage Eagles took the game to their opponent and in the 16th minute, forward, Seifeddine Jaziri broke the deadlock. Jaziri towered higher to head home into an empty net from a cross. The goal saw him moved clear to top the goal chart having now scored four goals so far in the tournament. Oman came out in the second half looking for the equalizer and in the 66th minute their effort finally yielded a positive result as Arshad Al Alawi leveled for Oman. Captain Youssef Msakni scored the winning goal that earned Tunisia the ticket to the semi final. The Carthage Eagles will face either Egypt or Jordan, who meet in Al-Wakrah on Saturday, in the last four. Hosts Qatar humiliated United Arab Emirates beating them 5-0 in Friday’s other quarter-final clash.
