Turkey invitational tournament: Golden Eaglets face host Turkey, 2 others

Five times world champions, Flying Eagles have been placed in group 1 with the hosts, Turkey, Senegal and Guatemala in the 2019 Turkey Invitational tournament, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The tourney is organized as a preparation ahead of the FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.

The Nigeria U17 national team, Golden Eaglets continue its preparations for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup, as they intensify their readiness for the biennial tournament.

The team has been camping in Abuja and playing series of friendly matches under the tutelage of Coach Manu Garba.

The team will anytime from now moved to Turkey in order to participate in the CAF/UEFA invitational tournament slated for the country.

The West African, Nigeria has been placed in group 1 alongside host Turkey, West Africa brothers Senegal and Guatemala.

The competition will run from September 20th till 28th, 2019 at Istabul the capital city of the country.

This will be the second time, Golden Eaglets will visit the country, they also traveled to the European country before the 2019 U17 African Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
