Few month after the departure of Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi, Turkey Super Lig side Tranzonspor is set to sign his replacement.

Tranzonspor over the weekend announced that they are in talks with Zamalek of Egypt winger and midfielder Achraf Bencharki.

Bencharki has had an outstanding season with Zamalek so far, scoring nine goals and assisting another five in 21 games across all competitions for the White Knights.

The 25-year-old has also been an integral part of Zamalek’s recent success as he guided them to two titles this season.

Zamalek won the CAF Super Cup in February after defeating Esperance 3-1 as Bencharki netted a brace.

Trabzonspor are currently the Turkish Super Lig leaders with 53 points after 26 games played.

Achraf Bencharki won the Egyptian Cup, CAF Super Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup with Zamalek this season.
