- Turkish Cup: Super Falcons Wallop Equatorial Guinea

It was a sweet victory for Nigeria's Super Falcons on Tuesday as they thrashed their counterpart from Equatorial Guinea 9-0 in the third game of the invitational tournament in Turkey, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Skipper of the team and FC Barcelona Femenino striker Asisat Oshoala was the star of the game as she netted four goals out of the 9 goals scored.
Floodgates of goals opened for Nigeria earlier in the game and by 15th minute of the encounter they are up by 3 goals with a brace from Oshoala.
Oshoala completed his hat trick in the 26th minute as she beat the offside track to scored the 4th goal of the game
Uchenna Kanu made it 5-0 to Nigeria in the 36th minute off an assist from newly invited Toni Payne.
Centre half Onome Ebi was replaced by debutant Kehinde Akinwande of FC Robo before Gift Adule made it 6-0 for Nigeria in the 38th minute.
Payne netted her first international goal for Nigeria in the 43rd minute and ended the half with Nigeria stamping her authority in the game.
Gift Monday made 8-0 for Nigeria in the 69th minute before Ogbonna Glory was substituted after she sustained injury.
Oshoala scored her 4th goal and Nigeria's 9th goal in the 85th minute just before Equatorial Guinea defender Gina was given a marching order for a dangerous play on Nigeria's Ramat Abdulkareem.
Out of the 3 matches played in the competition, Nigeria's Super Falcons under Randy Waldrum won the 3 matches, scored 11 goals and conceded none.
