Mikel, Awaziem in Trabzonspor Talk - Onazi

Super Eagles assistant captain, Ogenyi Onazi has revealed that Eagles' captain, Mikel Obi and FC Porto defender, Chinedu Awaziem may put pen to paper with Turkish side, Trabzonspor, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Onazi, 25, admitted that the first stanza of the season was one of his best in Europe before suffering an injurybut now recuperating and believes will soon be back to help the team continue their good run of form.

The former Lazio midfielder revealed to www.bsnsports.com.ng in Abuja that Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi and FC Porto defender, Chinedu Awaziem are currently negotiating with Trabzonspor and both players may end up signing a deal to don the colour of the Turkish giant.

"Since, I was injured, the president of my team, Ahmet Agaoglu has been asking me which Nigeria player I can recommend playing for the team." Onazi told BSNSports.com.ng

"We spoke about Mikel Obi and Chinedu Awaziem and they are in discussion but I don't know if it will work out because they have a lot options open to them." Onazi concluded.
