Turkish Super Lig: Kayode Joins Sivasspor On Loan

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Kayode Olarenwaju continues his adventures in Europe as he joined another Turkish Super Lig side, Sivasspor on a year loan deal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Austria Wien striker spent last season on loan with Gazientep FC also of Turkey from his parent club Shaktar Donetsk of Ukraine.

Gazientep tried to tie him down to another deal but both parties failed to agree on terms and conditions.

Sivasspor confirmed his capture on Thursday afternoon and hope he will surely propel the club in the new season.

" Demir Group Sivasspor, which continues its transfer studies before the new season, has reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk to lease Olarenwaju Kayode until the end of the 2020-2021 season. Serving as a forward, Kayode came to Sivas today and signed an official contract at the signing ceremony attended by our Deputy President Erdal Sarılar," the club wrote.

Kayode scored 10 goals and made 6 assists in 27 matches with the Gaziantep shirt.
