He has now scored more goals in 45 mins than he did in 740 mins in his last spell at the club. This was his first game since September last year and took him just five minutes after introduction to find the back of the net and completed his brace 11 minutes from time. Galatasaray won  2-1 against Gaziantep FK and are now in second place, level on point with third-placed Fenerbahce and two points behind leaders, Besiktas having played a game more.
