Women U20 African Nations Championship: Nigeria defeats Kenya, Moves second place By Dare Kuti Team Nigeria was on fire in their second pool A match beating host Kenya 3-1 points and move from bottom to second place in Nairobi at the Women U20 African Nations Championship.  The young girls were under pressure during the first set as the lost 19-25 points in front of the Kenya fans.  The girls returned to the court winning the second set narrowly by 26-24 points after giving the Kenya girls a good fight.  The Musa Baba-Musa led team tidied up the third set, getting a deserved win by 25-18 points.  There was a bit of drama in the fourth set as to home fans gingered the host but all their singing and drumming ended in heart break with Nigeria securing victory by 25-23 points.  Nigeria have to beat Tanzania to stand a chance of Qualifying for the Women U20 semifinals. Meanwhile, Cameroon emerged as big contenders for the 2018 Women's U20 African Nations Championship's title as they recorded the second victory over Tanzania 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-20).  The victory put the dark horses on top of Pool A with a win- loss ratio of 2-0 ahead of Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania.
