Also, on a popular Nigeria WhatsApp sports platform, NSM, sports journalists and pundits poured out their angers and what led to the poor performances of the team.

"The NFF must take the blame for this SAMBA-SHAME. The coaches left the shores of Nigeria owed 9months salaries. Thesame NFF piled pressure on the coaches to take their wards to Brazil at all cost. Today, Manu needed to make substitutions, he could not touch the disables on the bench."

"We went to the world cup with too many nonentities. A team that has 5coaches. What is Jolomi doing doing in that team? Jolomi is a direct relative to NFF peesident Amaju Pinnick. Thesame Jolomi that conspired with his assistant to ruin the 2017 eaglets."

"We failed to qualify in 2016 and have been sent packing again in the second round in Brazil. So sadddddd! How did we get here? The fact is that in 2016 and 2017 the NFF forced 6-8 players on the coaches. A top administrator in Lagos had three players in this team."

"They have conspired to destroy Nigeria football. Coaches are not paid salaries, players are being owed backlog of outstanding salaries and the same men who should help improve the game are infiltrating the system with junks."
