U20 AFCON: CAF Approves Wearing of Black Arm Band For Flying Eagles Against Mali

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved NFF request for the Flying Eagles to wear black arms band in their Wednesday semifinal match against Mali, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Flying Eagles will wear a black armband in their semifinal match against Mali today as a sign of respect of the former NFF Secretary-General, Chief Taiwo Oginjobi who died in University College Hospital in Ibadan on Monday.
The seven-time African champions, will slug it out with their Malian counterparts in Niamey in one of the semifinal matches.
Flying Eagles finished as Group A leader with 7 points while Mali are runners-up in Group B with 6 points.
The first semifinal match will start by 4:30 pm Nigerian time. All the four semi-finalists have qualified for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.
