U20 WAFU Zone B: Flying Eagles Test Negative For Covid-19 Ahead Nigeria Vs Cote d'Ivoire Group B Opener

Nigeria U20 Men's national team had another round of Coronavirus test in Benin Republic on Saturday and all test negative, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The seven-time African champions who left Nigeria on Friday had a smooth journey to the match venue and also had a light warm up on a training pitch.
The WAFU Zone B commenced on Saturday, in the competition opener, Niger Republic shocked the hosts, Benin Republic 1-0 while Burkina Faso and Togo game ended in a 1-1 draw.
The two-time FIFA U20 World Cup finalist, Nigeria, will play their arch-rivals, Cote d'Ivoire at 4pm at the Stade de Gualle, in the group B opener. The third on the group, Ghana, is placed on bye.
The WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship is an association football tournament that is contested between national teams of Zone B of the West African Football Union .
Seven teams were drawn in two groups of four and three. WAFU Zone B member teams are Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo.
Togo, Benin Republic (host), Burkina Faso and Niger are in group A. While Nigeria, Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire are in group B.
The 2020 WAFU B championship commences on December 5th and ends December 20th. The winner of championship automatically qualify for the CAF U20 African Nations Cup.
