  U20 WAFU Zone B: Two Flying Eagles Players Test Positive For Coronavirus By Niyi Busari Two Flying Eagles players have been confirmed tested positive for Coronavirus at the ongoing U20 WAFU B championship in Benin Republic, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Before the WAFU U20 tourney commenced on Sunday players were tested and not fewer than five players were confirmed to have contracted Covid-19. According to the result released by the organiser, Nigeria have two players while the hosts, Benin Republic has one tested positive. Togo and Burkina Faso also have one player each tested positive for the virus. Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso confirmed this to newsmen after their 0-1 loss to Ghana on Wednesday. He added that the two players were left out of the squad, the decision according to him,  that cut down his option in selection of players. “Two of our players were partially affected with Covid-19 and now in isolation, with another one not fit for the match, we only have to use the ones we have on ground. Ladan Bosso told journalists. The former Ifeanyi Ubah head coach did not mention the name of the two players affected. Flying Eagles were forced to a 1-1 draw by Cote d'Ivoire in the group B opener on Sunday before losing 0-1 to arch-rival, Ghana on Wednesday. The seven-time African champions will have to wait for the outcome of Ghana versus Ivory Coast game before knowing whether or not they progress to semifinals of the zonal qualification for the 2021 CAF U20 African Cup of Nations.
