AFCON U23: Azubuike target the trophy, Olympic ticket.

Having helped the team to win the trophy in 2015 in Senegal Nigeria's U23 national team skipper, Azubuike Okechukwu has set his eye on picking one of the Olympic tickets and retaining the trophy Nigeria won four years ago, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Istanbul Basekhir midfielder was captain in 2015 when Nigeria lifted the trophy in Senegal with the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi and Sincere Seth who are also part of the team now.

''We have three players who won the title in tge last tournament in Senegal who are also here , so we are working as a team, now, it is a different team with a different coach and different perspective but then we need to win.

"We want to come back with the form of the old guys to win the trophy this very important for us and we are here to do that and to qualify the team for the Olympics ," he said.

A win will qualify the team automatically while a draw mean the team hope for a favourable result from the other teams.
