U23 AFCON qualifier: Uzoho, Awaziem two others drafted to Dream Team VII By Sampson Adedeji In order to beef up the team ahead of the U23 AFCON qualifier second leg match against Libya, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has released the quartet of goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, defenders Chidozie Awaziem, Valentine Ozornwafor and forward Victor Osimhen for the team, BSN Sports understands. Nigeria surprisingly suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg played in Tunisia which jeopardized the team hopes to qualify for the next round of the U23 African Nations Cup. On arrival from Tunisia, the team coach Imama Amapakabo held discussions with Rohr which prompted the release of Super Eagles players which are within the age brackets. The released players trained with U23 side on Saturday in readiness for Monday's match. Nigeria needs to score at 3 goals without conceding any to secure passage to the next round of the qualifier.
